Developing and evolving the ATRQ
We update the Attitude to Risk Questionnaire every two years with the aim of ensuring that it continues to be easy to understand and gives accurate and useable outputs.
This process involves reviewing all questions and obtaining user feedback, which gives us a clear view of whether any questions need to be improved, adjusted, or replaced.
This process also involves updating the control group analysis, to which all clients’ ATRQ responses are compared. This analysis is compiled by YouGov, the national survey specialist, which asks a representative sample of more than 2,000 UK adults to go through the questionnaire. We then assess the average score across this group and the distribution of responses.
Any changes made as a result of this work are rolled out across all our products and clients as soon as possible.
